Pallet racks (EPAL) are made up of uprights and beams and can be equipped with various accessories to improve safety and usability. Normally, industrial pallet racking has a depth of mm. 1000/1100 in order to better store pallets with a depth of 1200 mm.
The size and position of the pallet racking depends on the characteristics of the trolleys or lifting equipment, and on the size of the warehouse. The safety of the pallet racking is ensured by safety catches which prevent the beam from being released from the shoulder. Furthermore, a Capacity Table must always be affixed to the pallet racks where both the capacity of the shoulder and the capacity of the pair of beams are indicated. The shoulders of the pallet racks, being cold profiled, have no height limitations and the pitch between one shelf and the other varies according to need. The shoulders of the pallet racks have in fact adjustable pitches with a center distance of 5 cm. The pallet racks can be installed double-sided (two rows side by side) and are anchored to each other with spacers. The technical office of SGA srl analyzes and studies the needs of customers by designing the best configuration of the warehouse with the use of pallet racks. SGA makes use of technicians with twenty years of experience in the assembly of pallet racks, proposing certified structures at remarkably competitive costs throughout Italy and Europe. Pallet racks are a structure made of steel sections used for the storage of goods on pallets. Pallet racks are the best solution for warehouses where it is necessary to store palletised products with a large variety of references, being flexible and fast in both the loading and unloading phases.
